Take part in the PAR for Life Golf-A-Thon from October 14 to October 24, 2011 to raise money for prostate cancer education, awareness and research. You can register and collect pledges for each hole of golf you play or make a pledge and support the cause.
The concept is simple.
Commit to playing any number of holes of golf during the Golf-A-Thon and then collect pledges for each hole played. After registering you will be able to customize your reason for helping fight prostate cancer, add a photo and send an email directly to your contacts to secure pledges.
It’s easy, fun and who doesn’t want a great reason to play more golf. You can play any course in the world and it will count towards your Golf-A-Thon total holes played.
Have friends or family overseas? They can take part in the Golf-A-Thon or pledge online.
When playing, or on the 19th hole, you can check in and comment about your round using the foursquare phone application.
Learn more about foursquare and download the application onto your phone.
Have fun and enjoy.
